Margo Lang
Margo has been practicing yoga for seven years. After experimenting with different styles and teachers, she was certified during her senior year of high school in her hometown of Manhattan Beach, CA by her esteemed yoga mentor, Julie Rader. After completing her Yoga Alliance certification Margo taught at Mukti Yoga studio until coming to Yale to pursue a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Margo is now president of the student organization Yogis At Yale, offering free yoga classes to the Yale community. During her breaks from school Margo spends time teaching yoga classes at the Yoga Loft in Manhattan Beach, CA and at a camp for homeless and underprivileged children in the Los Angeles area. This past summer, Margo assisted Julie Rader in her foundation training and is now certified to lead her own trainings.
Margo teaches a dynamic vinyasa flow class with elements of Kundalini, Anusara, Tantric Meditation and Jivamukti woven within. She places
a strong emphasis on learning to move with the breath and encourages her students to “go with the flow,” but balances this easy-going teaching
style with safe alignment cues and subtle adjustments to ensure a healthy practice.
