Yoga Tune Up® Hips Immersion
Friday - Sunday, September 13th - 15th, 2019
10 AM - 5 PM
This training is appropriate for all experience levels.
This 18 hr/3 Day Training focuses on the integrated anatomy of the hips, legs, knees ankles and feet.
Students are guided through a variety of hands-on adjustments, new assessment strategies, injury scenarios to
improving their teaching of this body region. Trainees are presented with "template" workshops aimed to inspire their own creative
workshops and classes.
Each day begins with a performance-focused workshop that incorporates self-massage techniques using a variety of Yoga Tune Up® Therapy Balls followed by a movement-based workshop filled with out-of-the box moves.
This course is appropriate for students and movement educators who wish to deepen their knowledge and somatic understanding of the human body. Open to yoga teachers, group fitness instructors, massage therapists, personal trainers, movement professionals and interested practitioners. This workshop is appropriate for all experience levels.
No prior experience with Yoga Tune Up® is required, although it is helpful. The Immersion can be taken at any point in a teachers journey towards certification. Required for YTU Integrated Certificate and for Yoga Tune Up® Therapist consideration.
About Lillee
Lillee Chandra, LMT, E-RYT, is a licensed massage therapist with a specialty in clinical orthopedic manual therapy and a Yoga Tune Up® integrated instructor and anatomy trainer with passion for teaching you to move well. She has a distinct approach to massage therapy and yoga that is fueled by more than 20 years of training in competitive sports, movement arts, health education, and therapeutic bodywork and she is distinguished as a leader in postural re- education, pain management, and injury and illness rehabilitation. Lillee presents nationally at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, Pure Yoga, and YogaWorks. She holds a Clinical Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT) Certificate from her studies with Dr. Joseph Muscolino and has a private bodywork practice in North Haven, CT.
