Fresh Yoga Mentorship Program

with Heidi Sormaz

This program is open to individuals who have completed any 200HR or 300HR Yoga Teacher Training Course.

This 4-Month program includes 4 individual 2-hour sessions, 4 30-min personal phone calls and ongoing support with teaching.

The 2-hour sessions dive into what you want to improve in your teaching. The mentorship will be tailored to the individual's needs. At the same time, it will include at least 3 public teaching sessions. To feel your own progress in teaching - you need to teach!

Mentor Teacher

Mentor: Heidi Sormaz, E-RYT 500, is the owner and director of Fresh Yoga studios in New Haven. She has studied Yoga for 20 years and taught for 18. A Level 5 Certified Forrest Yoga teacher and Forrest Yoga Mentor Teacher, Heidi teaches the Forrest Yoga 200HR and Advanced Teacher Trainings, The Fresh Yoga 200HR and 300HR Trainings and has co-taught a 300-HR Advanced Vinyasa Training with Rolf Gates. She has taught at Esalen, Kripalu and and many other national venues. In 2008, Yoga Journal named Heidi one of their "Next Generation of Yoga Teachers." To read article click here! Ana chose Heidi Sormaz and Catherine Allen as the 1st Forrest Yoga Mentors to teach the Forrest Yoga Foundation and Advanced Teacher Trainings. In 2013, The Great Course selected Heidi to develop their 1st ever course on Yoga and Health.

Dates are determined by mentor and mentee within a maximum of 6 months time (from first to last meeting)

Registration Fee:
$1195 plus CT state tax
if you have completed a 200HR or 300HR teacher training with Heidi, you are eligible for a 10% discount - contact info@freshyoga.com for the discount code. Cancellation prior to 2 weeks before the 1st workshop, you will be refunded less a $100 processing fee. Within 2 weeks, refund to Fresh Yoga account only less $250 fee.
