About the Immersion

What is the Anusara Immersion? The Anusara Yoga® Immersion is a powerful, in-depth journey for the student who wishes to expand their practice and understanding of Anusara Yoga. In this comprehensive program, students will study all aspects of Anusara Yoga, including all asanas from the Level 1 and 2 syllabi, yoga history and philosophy, the elegant biomechanical Universal Principles of Alignment™, as well as meditation and pranayama and basic anatomy. The Immersion is also for aspiring teachers of Anusara Yoga and is designed to meet the prerequisites for entering an Anusara Yoga teacher training and when combined with a 100hr teacher training, counts toward 200hr National Yoga Alliance certification. The Immersion offers a complete experience of the inspiring and radiant teachings of Anusara Yoga, explored within the supportive and fun environment of the Fresh Yoga community.
The full Immersion Program (102 hrs total) is presented in three segments (34 hours each), that flow sequentially. Students who complete all three parts will meet the 100 hour minimum requirement to apply for any Anusara Yoga teacher training in the world. You may take all 3 parts as one course, or individually (in order 1-2-3) over time as your interest and schedule allow.
